如何实施英语课堂教学评价呢？我想从以下几个方面来谈一谈。
一、激发学生对评价的兴趣
爱因斯坦曾说：“如果把学生的热情激发起来了，那学校所规定的功课，会被当作一种礼物来接受。”同理，如果学生对评价感兴趣，那么，评价以及使用了评价的英语学习，会成为学生乐于接受的礼物。如在教学水果单词 peach, pear, orange, watermelon,以及所涉及的两个句型“i like ….” 和”do you like ….”时，我精心地设计了教学评价方案，制作了peach, pear,orange 和watermelon 这四种图片。将全班同学分成四个小组，每组选择一种图片。凡是答对了问题的学生就可以为本组获得一张图片，贴在黑板上。这个评价活动贯穿着整个教学过程。学生们循规蹈矩，回答出问题就拿一张图片，贴到黑板上。教学到操练“i like….”句型这一个环节时，出现了一个高潮。杨宝天说了句“i like pears.” 我出其不意的从讲桌里拿出一个梨送给他。他高兴极了，在同学羡慕的眼光中回到座位上。同时，教室里像炸开了锅，学生们争先恐后举手，要求发言。
在这节课中，我采用了两种不同的评价手段，一为图片，一为实物。很显然，学生对于能够吃的实物感兴趣多了，有强烈的想得到它的欲望。对评价有了兴趣，学生对课堂活动就有了狂热的参与度。当然，每堂课都使用实物作为评价是不太现实的。那么，怎样才能使学生对其他的评价手段也感兴趣呢？我认为，让课堂教学中的评价与终结性评价紧密结合起来，使课堂教学评价常规化，是最为有效的方法。
二、使课堂教学评价常规化。
所谓常规，是指沿袭下来经常实施的规矩。英语课堂教学评价常规化，就是要让英语课堂教学评价成为一种规矩，一种制度，坚持不懈的执行下来，其评价的结果不断积累，成为终结性评价的资料来源与依据。
要使英语课堂教学评价常规化，需要做多方面的工作。
（1）立好评价的项目。在一堂英语课中，需要评价的项目很多，有学习效果方面的，如听、说、读、写；有学习态度方面的，如学习积极性，在小组合作中的参与度等；有学习策略方面的，如怎样解决老师提出的问题，学习过程中遇到困难该怎么办，等等。这些项目如果不一一列出告诉学生，他们在评价时就不会知道该从那些方面下手。
（2）给出评价的标准。在列出项目后，要给每一项分成a、b、c三等，分别给出三种不同的奖励标志，如，教师教学用书后附有的大棕熊和小松鼠贴纸。记录下评价结果，到期末根据贴纸数目的多少，给学生定等级，打评语。
（3）教给学生评价的方法。要使评价常规化，学生必须掌握评价的方法。在第二点中，老师已经给出评价的项目与标准，然后让学生对照标准，进行评价的训练。老师要对学生进行评价常规训练，养成良好的评价习惯。有听的习惯：听别人的发言，为发表评价奠定基础；听别人给出的评价，接受他人反馈的意见。说评价的习惯：注意发言礼貌，说话委婉，虚心学习他人的优点。这些习惯的养成，需要老师进行长期的训练

高中英语必修三教材分析

从难度（国家课程标准要求的普通高中毕业生应达到的水平）上讲，我国设定的高中英语标准本来就是高不成低不就，个人认为这是中国学生学习英语事倍功半的根源。课本读过了，习题做过了，考试考过了，大量的精力都花出去了，但是离实际掌握英语还是有很大距离。普通的高中毕业生的英语可以说就是半吊子水平，还达不到阅读外网文章几无障碍、大致能听懂BBC/VOA、不借助字幕大致能看懂英剧美剧、或用比较地道的英语表达相对深刻的见解这样的水平。
从体例形式上讲，单元式教学太冗长。一个单元（话题）要持续两个礼拜，到了一个单元快结束的时候，提到这个话题学生都想吐了。但没有办法，单元教学是当今世界各种外语教科书的主流编排方式。个人偏好《新概念英语》那样短小精悍的文章，还不时掺杂些冷幽默，学起来更有趣味。
